TV Bed Frame Styles
Many years ago, we decided that TV bed frames needed to look like beds rather than thick, clunky cabinets at the foot of your bed. The models we have available span various styles, colors, and wood species to match any decor. However, they all have one thing in common: they are all the thinnest, least conspicuous TV beds available today. With an innovative TV lift mechanism, we are able to keep the TV lift footboard thin and inconspicuous, which opens up your bedroom and draws attention away from your TV and back to other things that are more important in your life.

Layout Options
Every space is unique, which is why every style of TV Bed we build is available in three distinct layouts: TV lift footboard only, standard TV bed frame, and the captain’s TV bed frame. Each layout has advantages and benefits that may suit your room best. Learn more about the different TV bed layouts below.
TV Lift Footboard Only
If you want a TV lift bed, but you already have a headboard that you love, or you are simply looking for the least expensive option, consider the TV lift footboard only. This layout is optional in any of our TV bed styles, and includes just the TV lift footboard. While less expensive, this option has inherent complications, which is why we require you to call in to place an order for the TV lift footboard only.
Standard TV Bed Frame
The original TV bed frame! Our most popular choice, the standard TV bed frame includes the headboard, TV lift footboard, and two side rails that join the headboard to the TV lift footboard. We believe that TV beds should be inconspicuous and slim, which is where the design for the original Wildwood TV bed came from. Note that this option does not include any mattress support system, and a separate bed frame or bed base system is required.
Captain’s TV Bed Frame
The captain’s TV bed is an ode to functional furniture. This option reclaims the wasted space beneath your mattress with six large (very large) drawers. With roughly the same storage capacity of a standard master bedroom dresser, the captain’s TV bed frame will save space and look gorgeous while doing it. Just think of it; your bed, your dresser, and your entertainment center, all wrapped up in one stunning piece. You’re going to like it a lot.
What TV Can I Use?
Our TV lifting mechanisms are very versatile, and are compatible with a very wide array of TV makes and sizes. While there’s no way to guarantee that a TV will work unless you purchase one with your TV bed frame, there are a few general rules you can follow to test if your TV will work with our TV lift footboard.
TV Lift Mechanism Options:
The Standard TV Lift Mechanism
The standard TV lift mechanism is the mechanism that is included in the purchase of any of our TV lift footboards. It is a great mechanism, but is limited to TVs no larger than a 45-inch.
The Deluxe TV Lift Mechanism
The deluxe TV lift mechanism is our premium lift mechanism, and will allow you to use TVs up to a 50-inch. It also lifts the TV much higher out of the footboard, which produces a better viewing angle, and works with a larger variety of TVs.
Use the sections below to test whether your TV will work with one of our TV lifting mechanisms.
The TV lift mechanism that is included with the price of our TV beds is known as our standard TV lift mechanism. It is a great mechanism, and will work with many TVs, but it does have one key limitation: it can only work with TVs sizes up to a 45-inch TV (measured diagonally across the TV screen).
Testing if your TV will work with the standard TV lift mechanism:
- Is your TV larger than a 45-inch? If yes, you will need to upgrade to the Deluxe mechanism. If your TV is a 45-inch or smaller, go on to the next step!
- Is your TV deeper than 3.5″? If yes, we’d need to make a few customizations to your TV lift footboard to make it work. Give us a call and we’ll see if we can squeeze it. If no, move on to the next step.
- Does your TV use one of the following VESA patterns: 400×300, 400×200, 400×100, 300×300, 200×200, 200×100, 100×100? If yes, that TV should work with our TV lift mechanism.
It’s important to note that there’s no way to give a 100% guarantee that any TV will work with our mechanism unless you purchase a TV with your TV bed frame from Wildwood TV Lift Furniture. If your TV passed the three questions above, it is highly likely that it will work just fine. If you have any concerns, give us a call at (801) 901-8249.
The deluxe TV lift mechanism is the largest, most versatile TV lift mechanism we offer. It has a travel distance of a whopping 39.375″, and can hold TVs up to a 50″ (measured diagonally across the TV screen). In addition to working with larger TVs, it also lifts the TV much higher out of the footboard, which creates a more enjoyable viewing experience and ensures that your feet, blankets, pillows, etc. are never in the way of your TV screen.
Testing if your TV will work with the deluxe TV lift mechanism:
- Is your TV larger than a 50-inch? If yes, it most likely will not work with the deluxe TV lift mechanism. There are some 55″ TVs that will work with the deluxe mechanism, but it isn’t recommended.
- Is your TV deeper than 3.5″? If yes, we’d need to make a few customizations to your TV lift footboard to make it work. Give us a call and we’ll see if we can squeeze it. If no, move on to the next step.
- Does your TV use one of the following VESA patterns: 600×400, 600×200, 600×100, 400×400, 400×200, 400×100, 300×300, 200×200, 200×100? If yes, that TV should work with our deluxe TV lift mechanism.

How are your TV Bed Frames shipped?
To get the best price and the best service, we work with a variety of logistics organizations to transport your furniture from our production center in St. George, Utah to your home. Regardless of which freight carrier we use, your furniture will always be delivered by a final-mile agent who specializes in residential deliveries. A full-size semi truck may be used to deliver to your home, so if you believe this will be a problem, you can also request a smaller delivery truck at the time that you place your order. Prior to delivery, the final-mile agent will contact you to schedule the best time for delivery.
We offer three levels of shipping service to fit your needs. These levels are: curbside delivery, threshold delivery, and premium white glove delivery. Each of the shipping options are available anywhere in the contiguous United States and in many parts of Canada. If you live outside of the contiguous USA, please give us a call to discuss the best option for shipping your TV bed frame to your home.
Curbside Delivery
The most economical option for shipping your bed is curbside delivery. If you select curbside delivery, your TV bed and any other pieces of furniture will be left on the driveway or curb outside of your home. The delivery drivers will not unbox any part of the package, help you carry it into the home, or assist you in the setup of your bed. The delivery will be on a pallet that is roughly 4′ x 8′, which you will need to dispose of. Additionally, the furniture can be quite heavy, so please be prepared to lift up to 200 lbs., and coordinate assistance as needed. The moving of each piece of our furniture is a two- to three-person job.
Threshold Delivery
Threshold delivery is one step up from curbside delivery. If you select this option, the freight carrier will place your package in the first accessible dry area (which is usually a garage or carport). From there, you can take the pieces into your home one at a time and then dispose of the packaging and the pallet. Like curbside, the freight carrier cannot be counted on to unbox, lift, or assemble your TV bed frame. If you select threshold delivery, please be prepared to lift up to 200 lbs. and dispose of a 4′ x 8′ pallet. Lifting each piece of furniture is a two- to three-person job, so please coordinate assistance as such.
Premium White Glove Delivery
Premium white glove delivery is the highest level of service we offer in shipping. With this option, the final-mile agent will unpackage each piece of furniture and carry it into the room of your choosing, but please note that they are limited to two flights of stairs. The delivery agent will also dispose of the packaging and pallets. This option is great if you don’t want to arrange help in moving any of the furniture or disposing of the pallet.

How difficult is assembly?
On average, assembly takes our customers about 30 minutes. We do as much as possible to make the setup of your TV bed frame smooth and simple, this includes pre-building each component of your order before it ships to you. This means that your headboard, TV lift footboard, nightstands, dressers, and captain’s bed cabinets are totally assembled before they are shipped. All you need to do is place them in the room where you want them, connect the components, and install the TV lift mechanism. This is starkly different from most furniture shippers who ship each piece knocked down with enormous assembly instruction booklets.
