Meet the Styles

The Hayward Style
The Hayward Style is a beautiful shaker style. Shaker has been a go-to for furniture for decades because of its ability to elevate the style of any room or decor. It rides the line between traditional and modern perfectly as to complement either aesthetic. Shaker paneling is almost like a blank canvas upon which you can create any style you are trying to create. For example, white, painted shaker cabinets create a clean transitional look that offers a bright alternative to dark traditional tones. If you select a lighter wood finish like natural or autumn haze, you can create a farmhouse or cabin aesthetic.
The Hayward was developed to be the sister style to our Hartford TV Bed, which is by far our most popular TV bed style.
The Brisbane Style
The Brisbane TV Lift Cabinet is a striking mid-century modern TV lift cabinet that joins warm wood tones with straight lines and a modern symmetrical design. This design aesthetic is a wonder of opposites attracting. The straight lines of modern furniture can feel cold and sterile, but the real wood construction adds a depth and warmth as well as a dose of nature to your home. Even though the design is fairly simple, this style packs a serious aesthetic punch and allows you to open your room to other design elements while hiding your TV perfectly.
The Lindon Style
The Lindon TV Lift Cabinet is a stunning transitional style that straddles the line between traditional and modern. The combination of the traditional molding with the bead-board is eye-catching and classy. The beauty of this style is that it takes the foundation of traditional American furniture and builds upon it with more modern design aesthetics. Some of the molding we use for this style is as traditional as it comes (ogee edges and mitered joints to name a couple) while the bead-board pulls in a generous dose of a comfortable modern-farmhouse feel. This allows the Lindon to be stylish and classy without being starched and outdated.
How they work
Just like all of our TV Beds, our enclosed TV cabinets operate with one of the most versatile TV lift mechanisms on the market. This mechanism is quick, quiet, and remarkably low-profile, which allows all of our furniture to be slim and appear like normal furniture. We believe that too many TV lift cabinets are too conspicuous. They look like what they are (TV lift cabinets) rather than what they are trying to look like (furniture). Our approach with these cabinets is to start with a piece of furniture and then plan how to turn it into a TV lift cabinet. Our mechanism is critical in accomplishing this.
To operate the mechanism, there is a remote as well as a rocker switch which is placed on the right side of the cabinet (when you’re facing it).
