Our Commitment
We are committed to contributing to the reforestation of the earth and the reduction of greenhouse gasses through responsible harvesting as well as planting one tree for every Wildwood TV Bed we build. We are dedicated to creating beautiful real wood furniture while caring for our nations renewable forest resources.
At Wildwood TV Lift Furniture, we love the forest. We are a company comprised of a bunch of woodworkers, so we are passionate about beautiful wood. The forest not only provides our living, it provides us with our artistic medium. We focus on responsible harvesting practices because we want our children and grandchildren to have the opportunity to fall in love with woodworking the way that we have and this will only be possible through renewable harvesting practices.
What We’re Doing
Tree Planting Program
We will plant one tree for each TV bed we build. We do this in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service through the National Forest Foundation. This initiative is separate and in addition to re-planting lumber harvested for our use.
Responsible Harvesting
Responsible harvesting is a cycle. Every tree that is harvested for Wildwood TV Lift Furniture was planted decades ago for use in furniture. Once harvested, each tree is replaced and set aside for future use in furniture building.

Tree Planting Program
Trees perform a vital function in our environment through converting co2 to oxygen. They play a huge role in filtering out gasses that are harmful to our planet’s health as well as to our individual health. In fact, one acre of trees can filter up to 13 metric tons of gasses and particles out of the air per year.
Trees add beauty and function to our world, but the wood harvested from trees also adds beauty and function to our homes. We pride ourselves in using only real wood in all of our TV Beds, this means that trees are harvested to produce each piece of furniture we sell. In an effort to be conscious of our consumption, and to ensure that our forests can perform their vital functions, we will sponsor the planting of one tree for every TV bed we sell. This will be done through a donation to the National Forest Foundation that is specifically allocated for the planting of trees. Because of this, when you purchase your TV bed, a portion of the money we collect from you will donated in the amount equivalent to one tree being planted.
Responsible Harvesting
The wood we use to build our TV beds, nightstands, and all of our furniture is harvested from the Hardwood Forestry Fund, which is a member of the sustainable forestry program. “Through tree planting and implementation of forest management techniques on public land, the Hardwood Forestry Fund promotes hardwood timber growth, management, environmental education, and wise use of our nation’s renewable forest resources” (http://www.hardwoodforestryfund.org).
Through our partnerships, we have ensured that every tree that is harvested for use in a Wildwood TV Lift Furniture product is replaced for future furniture use. Replacing the trees we use for future use in furniture building creates a sustainable cycle that ensures the trees used are replaced to ensure that the trees can continue to fulfill their crucial role in our ecosystem.
